INTRO:

One of the beautiful things about the internet and broadband is that it allows music files to potentially be downloaded from anywhere. Aside from the traditional record companies and millionaire rock stars spending their time and energy talking about illegal downloads, the real 'creative' potential of the broadband revolution is the opportunity it provides for bringing together diverse musicians and sounds, the possibility of creating something unique and original, with other musicians, regardless of specific geographical location, age, background, or musical style.

OUTLINE:

We aim to release a collective album of 10 tracks (working title 'Mothers Pride").

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

1/ Sign up on this page.

2/ We direct you to a list of short .wav sound files to download.

3/ You jam along, record a new/solo sound file, and send it back.

4/ We mix it all up, then send the finished tracks to our distributors to publish on itunes and various other download sites

TECHNICAL DETAILS:

Each sound file sent back to us needs to start in the same place, and have the same tempo as the original. The sound file needs to be your performance alone, without the original track.
Please send .WAV (or good quality .MP3) files only.

QUALITY CONTROL:

If your sound files are to be used, we'll let you know, until we see what response we get to this there's no way of telling what will or won't work, it's all an experiment.

MONEY MONEY MONEY:

The finished album will be released digitally under a 'creative commons' license, which means that everyone who has contributed gets a share in any profits... that's it!!
